How do I restore a purchase?
Sign in to the Apple Account used for the purchase, open Kept’s paywall and tap Restore Purchases. If the subscription still does not appear, contact support.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
Manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or open Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting Kept or your Kept account does not cancel a subscription. For a refund request, visit Apple’s Report a Problem.
Where is my journal stored?
Your trades, notes, transcripts and recordings are stored on your device. Kept supports encrypted backups to your iCloud Drive, with a local backup fallback when iCloud is unavailable. Automatic backup timing is controlled by iOS. Check the backup status in Profile and make a current backup before changing devices or deleting the app.
Can I use Kept without AI?
Yes. You can enter trade cards manually. Optional AI sends note or transcript text to OpenAI to correct transcription errors and extract trade details. Audio stays on your device. You can disable AI in Settings → AI & Privacy.
Can I export my trades after my subscription ends?
Yes. CSV and PDF export remain available after your subscription lapses. New trade capture and AI extraction require Kept Pro.
How do I delete my account and data?
Use Delete Account in Profile. Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period; signing back in during that period restores it. Your local journal and any backups need to be removed separately. See the privacy policy for retention details. Contact our privacy address if you cannot access the app.
